i was surprised to learn that there is a way to get live racing on your tv (as opposed to computer). what we call tvg2 is available for 8.99 per month (along with 79 other channels of very little value to most folks) from skitter tv. their site lists it as hrtv, and i asked about it before i signed up. i did sign up and i do get tvg2 on my roku. there are a lot of christian stations on the service, and a bunch of commercial free music channels, and a motley crew of others.

i agree with you mostly, but i really prefer racing on my tv instead of computer. just posting to help others. this service is nowhere near the top of any searches i did,so would be undiscoverable to most here.

Would you believe that I have Dish Network that I pay $81. per month for the soul purpose of having TVG. No other reason, no other channels do I care about. I already have them on cable.

On my part, ridiculous, yes, as I don't even watch a lot of tv!! But like you and others, for racing, tv is better than computer.

i know how you feel , almost. ive kept 100/ mo service for, mostly, tvg-tcm-cspan-football coverage-- i got the roku and im at 21/mo for everything but football, essentially. not exactly the same, but very close for $1000/ year less !
