Key horse in the first went straight to the rear after the start and pretty much ran back there the entire race. Class 5's on a yielding track, should know better.
:1: Way May Baby chased the favourite winner who got a perfect trip. Gift at 7-2 at the moment. Have to hold off the :3: and :9: who loves the off going.

No excuses in not winning the 2nd race, got to the lead without too much effort just got outrun by a horse who never changes leads.
Taking the :1: Nitro Express (10-1) in the third, dropping down to Class 4 from a race that the 1st, 5th and 6th placers came back and won their next races. Q'ing and in the tri's with the :2: :3: (both wide in their last outs), the chalk :4: and the :7: and :9:

That was a tough beat, outrun by the first time starter who went off at 29-1. Next race another Class 5 with a bunch of runners who don't want to win, fixing breakfast instead of betting.

:4: Tom's Charm was on my watch list on his race two back, had a little trouble in his last and didn't fire. The winner and the 3rd place runners have exited that race to win next out. Concerned that there isn't enough pace, with :8: and :11: are the only ones that show early speed, hopefully the bug on the :1: will add to it.
Taking the fly on Moreira and Size at 5.7-1 on the :4: with the :1:bad draw :2: rank last out with poor % trainer :3: :5: rank and caught a yielding track :7: all kinds of trouble and blocked in the lane in his last. Worried about the :8:

Going with the chalk in the 6th, :5: Back in Black loves running at Happy Valley, picks up Purton due to Teetan's suspension (improvement).
Playing him with the :1: :2: :3: was wide and gets the 10lbs. :6: last race a total throw out :11: was very rank and still ran 3rd :12: Moreira

Not too keen on the 7th, Class 3 going 5 furlongs, with at least 7 of them want or will try for the lead. Would like to play the :1: Smart Declaration but can't take the 11 hole and a trainer who is 9 for 275 on the meet even at 9.3-1. :10: Flying Force was very rank in his last and draws the rail with (I like to finish 2nd) D. Whyte. Passing the race.

Sometimes you out think yourself, not taking 12-1 on the :1: because of the trainer, hurts.
Middle of the track looks like the best place to be in the stretch.

Loving 8-1 on :5: Friends of Ka Ying dropping from a HK GI at Sha Tin to a Class 2 at Happy Valley is huge class difference. Have to outrun the :1: Circuit Land off the win in his last on the dirt, the 2nd and 5th place runners came back to win, also the :3: ran in that race too.
Playing the :5: with the :2: :3: :7: :9: :11:

That sucked, never really picked up his feet in the race.
On to the finale, going with :8: Red Marvel (5.6-1) at the moment, draws the rail for leading trainer Size, only beaten by 1.5 lengths in his last while being blocked in the lane. Keying him with the :1: :2: :4: :5: :6: :7:
