It looks like another value packed day at Sha Tin with 11 Turf races and nice size fields in each one except Race #1.

In case anyone is wondering how to structure a Quinella bet with 2 Key entries and 4 others (K1-K2 W/ A-B-C-D ) do the following:
K1/K2, K1/A, K1/B, K1/C, K1/D & K2/A, K2/B, K2/C, K2/D =
(9) total Bets ($2 denominations or higher)

This same structure can be used with the Quinella/Place bet which means if either Key finishes 1st , 2nd , or 3rd and any of others finish in-the-money (1st, 2nd or 3rd) with them you can potentially hit on (3) Q/P bets. They generally don't pay as much unless a big LS shows up in the money.

Structuring a Triple is a bit more expensive, but if the value is there then try the following with (K1-K2 W/ A-B-C-D ):
K1 / K2-A-B-C-D / K2-A-B-C-D = 20 Bets w/K1 as the Winner
K2-A-B-C-D / K1 / K2-A-B-C-D = 20 Bets w/K1 as the Placer
K2-A-B-C-D / K2-A-B-C-D / K1 = 20 Bets w/K1 in for Show (use only if value is there)
If you repeat this same structure with K2 for Win & Place with the others it’ll be 80 total Bets, but there’s potential to hit the Triple 2X if both K's are in the money.

Not a big fan of Class 5 races, very inconsistent horses. The :5: Medic Swordsman was on my watch list in his last and ran very poorly, don't know if I am willing to go back on him. Not too keen on the chalk :1: breaking from the 11 barrier on the soft with the high weight. :6: Always Wongchoy was blocked in his last and the 4th and 5th place runners out of that race have came back and won next out.

The bug girl held on, she can ride well with the weight allowance on front runners. She gets to the lead early and holds that lead into the stretch she's tough to get by. My longshot was running, ran out of stretch.

Another Class 5 race with the high weight favourite with a bad draw, was hoping to play A Fast One (even though I hate the trainer) but was scratched. Passing here, going to watch the start of the Western/Hawthorn game instead.

:2: Mr. Picasso can't catch a break on the barrier draws, was on my watch list two back, should be able to beat this group but not taking 4/5 on a first time on the yielding with that draw. The bug girl should be on the lead taking the :1: out on the duel.

She can ride on the lead! I don't know if it's the weight or if it's her riding ability but if she's on one that has gate speed she has the ability to pick'em up and carry them to the wire.

The 5th is a weak Class 4 race, looks more like a good Class 5 instead.
Well, she has another front runner and there's not a lot of speed rivals that are going to run with her. Moreira has another bad draw, but betting him here, was in all kids of trouble and closed well and the added 200 metres should help.

So far it seems the favorites with the bad draws are not able to get a decent position for a good late run.

Prefer the 1000 metre races at Happy Valley than Sha Tin. Surprise, surprise the bug girl has another speed demon that seems to like the soft going. He also has a habit of not running on his proper lead.

They are hammering the :1: Healthy Joyful, was 13-1 earlier in the day and now is 9-2, hate the draw on the soft ground. Watched the :2: 's race in Australia has a real nice turn of foot, maybe outclassed here. Don't like playing big chalks :6: who had a perfect trip all alone on the lead and moves up in class.
Taking :5: Hammer King, two races back moved past the field in a moment without being asked, had a hard drive in last should improve with the rail draw.
