Lots of great racing today and some places w wet tracks, just wanted to let everyone know the shrieks (EMD INCLUDED!) of 'gold rail' went up after the first at the Big A today. Track seemed 'tight' and the inside horses separated by large margins late, something to keep an eye on. One race doesn't a bias make, so lets see how race 2 plays out, ill tell you one thing I'm not making size able plays on wide closers until I see some proof they can 'sweep' and get there, race 1 seemed 'inside biasey' to me.

Think we can put that to bed now.

Come on now, at least it was still the :1: horse. By the way, on what planet does a Johnny V/Irad Ortiz double pay $90?

Hmmm, looked like the track changed, seemed like it was raining for race 2.

Could change back too...just takes a few tractor passes.

No doubt.

I suspect the #1 in the first race ran back to around his peak from last year and put away the other speeds that were chasing him. When the running got more serious in the middle they couldn't keep up when asked. There's been so much rain at this point, it's irrelevant.

No speed bias at Keene I had 9s and 10s in the recently concluded 7th and lined up in what looked like an easy pace and wasnt really all that competitve. Maybe you need closers at this place, blue grass might be ripe for boxcar prices with wide sweepers coming from the back. Stay tuned.
