as Chris Rock said, we can make vehicles to survive reentry of the earth's atmosphere but we can't yet make a Ford where the bumper doesn't fall off.

You know a large majority of the Toyota brand is made here in the United States? right? Honda Too..........there is one difference in these plants..........most don't have the UAW

I think you might have missed one other thing that is different, a corporate culture that values quality. Right?

Maybe you are not aware, Toyota has pioneered quality control structures that US companies have been attempting to copy for quite some time......it starts at the top JR, not at the bottom. Right?
