Iceland's prime minister resigned today.He and his wife had set up a company in the British Virgin Islands with the help of this Panamanian bank,although he said he had paid all his taxes and claimed it was not illegal.However, he had not disclosed it to the Icelandic government as required by law.Iceland was one of the countries hit hardest by the 2009 bank crisis when their 2 largest banks failed in the same week. The company the Iceland PM set up had a financial interest in the Icelandic banks that the government was overseeing during the crisis .
