The way I read the pps, at least 3 entries don't qualify for this race under the conditions. All three have won too much money. Anyone care to comment on this, c'mon help me out here.

The 3 horses....2, 8,9 by my calculations

two of the three hit board,# 2 won,# 8 ran 3rd running second was a huge longshot. I bet the 8, got a little tired but brushed along pretty well. odd, the 3rd of horses mentioned, the #9 that was, also left well, but the form was not there.

The condition of the race which all these horses met was non winner of 2 races this year or $27,000 lifetime.

Incorrect, its nw2 races lifetime but the money condition gives allowances for earnings, 4yos get 25% off earnings from 2015, 3yos get 50% off earnings from 2015 and 25% off earnings from 2016

Thank you for a response I could understand. Those same conditions, however, are not accurately repeated atop the free pps that Woodbine racing page offers, only the nw part and the non won more than 27,000 lifetime, with no further breakdown listed. A sharp guy can fit in a horse or two under those conditions, which like they say..their horses just slip under the radar. 1st and 3rd on this occasion. So, I must ask, where can one read the complete conditions..is there a condition book available to the race fan(online)?

The actual conditions are available on woodbine website

You can see in the actual race office copy of the conditions at the very bottom it shows allowances.

There are races with conditions for money won that will be written with NO ALLOWANCES like the 5th race at Wdb last night (3/31) and on the free pps from Wdb website if you go back and look you'll see it says, "FILLIES & MARES, 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE OR $7,000 LIFETIME.
NO ALLOWANCES"

And the winner of the race you point out, if you do the math was eligible by $65, he made $19,060 this year all of which counts because he's 4yo, and made $10,500 last year which counts as $7875 because of the allowance, making his earnings $26,935. The race secretary more than likely bumped the money condition up to fit this horse into the race as that changes week to week.
