Some tough races..10th is a monster starting leg of the pick-3...
TVG races 3-13..
Race 1
3. Final Retrieve- Keeps Bier, pocket winner in last and lots of wins at Ohio Fairs. Seasoned.
1. AllaboutBeni- 3 yr old debut, modest sires cash as a 2yr old picking up maiden win.
8. Jacobs’s Money- In with faster at Dover. Bad post, but, not impossible to pick these off on the way home.
4. Sweat equity- 5 yr old who has only 17 starts and hasn’t raced since June. Has Roberts.
Race 2
5. Emotions In Motion- Can’t believe Timmy is 0-42. This horse had a horrendous trip and still hung in 4th. Better post.
7. I am delightful- Solid 2016 debut and a legit contender who has early speed to overcome post.
8. Marshalinn- A rare mistake last time and now post 8. Another with speed to overcome post.
1. Ringdangdo- Has 4 starts under his belt. Could challenge for spot late..
Race 3
1 Charlie B- Bier couldn’t leave from post 9. He can here. Does he release the 6?
6,Chester Fitch- Likely needed last.
3. happy New Year- Missed two weeks after swallowing cash. Hasn’t won in 2 years.
5. Top Offcial – Dover miles suggest he belongs here and could contend for a super spot.
7. Zepplin Blue Chip-Parked hopelessly in last . Gains Plante. Needs more conservative approach this week.
Race 4
2. Hardhead’s Lil Chris- Long name. Wired field in Q. Decent vs. PA/MD stakes at 2.
6. Teana Hanover- Beaten Favorite, but, not bad effort in first start of 2016.
7. A Card That’s Wild- Even effort in first start of 2016
Race 5
2. Roctavius- Hard not to tab him off first two starts of the year. Even Jrob comes back!
5. Hickory Aloha- Becoming more versatile now. Big effort last time.
6. Spinout- Solid local debut in last.
1. Hillbilly Fairytale- Should be well positioned turning for home.
8. Tom’s Tiger- Raced well from second tier. Has Plante, could follow the 2.
Race 6
3. Doggone Slots- Overbet in seasonal debut against good field. Will be better this week.
5. Candy Stash- If she trots 1:55 like she did at Dover in January she wins easy.
9. House on Fire- Big Move to the lead in last. Beaten by 2 good foes.
2. Ruiz- Beat Cheaper with the Bier Man. He sticks.
Race 7
6. Concert Artist- Made a break in last, double drop and gets Bier. Last chance.
4. Varsity Hanover- Paced 3 miles 1:54 and under. One check. Likely fave here.
3. Dalhousie Dave- Did not mind his two-move effort last time.
5. Action Brad- drops again, may get live cover from 6.
Race 8
9. Hi Sir- Has not won in a while, yet was handicapped with bad posts. Draws semi better tonight.
7. Real Tough- Solid effort in local debut last time.
8. Hot Art- Has the speed to overcome the post.
6. Contraband Hanover- Good barn, gave way on engine last time.
Race 9
2. Skyway Priss- Draws better . Each start in first state but one was solid.Value.
3. Beau Joe- As always tough here. Likely fronts them.
7. Keystone Cocoa – picked her last week and she came through at almost 4-1. Tougher group.
4. Everyone’s Talkin- 9-1 winner last week in slow back half.
5- Third Coast- Solid Q, deserves underside consideration.
8. Nidaros- Fits well here always. Again, tough field.
Race 10(Toughest Race of the night)
7. BattleShoe Tom- I think 1,2,3,4,5 crush each other for ¾ mile.Hopefully he follows 1 to victory. Total hunch play.
1. Acardi- Foster stuck here over 5.
3.Caviart Tyler- Roberts stayed over 2, 7.
4. Bridge Jumper- Sharp rebound against Cheaper in last.
5. Tom’s Titan.- Rounding back in to form.
6. Breezeintheshade- Sharp Q, asking a lot vs this group in first calling.
Race 11
3. One bad Shot- All 3 on local scene have been very good.
4. Upbyfive- MIlby climbs in the sulkyoff of good effort in last from post 8.
6. Howsaboutakiss. Solid for Foster in all 3 local starts.
8. Salazar- Moyer stuck with 8. Veteran has been strong in final quarter, just too far to come in first two back.
7. Elusive Point- Sick scratch keeps his rating from being higher.
Race 12
9. Redneck fortune- Barn has been decent lately. Draws better and gets Roberts.
3. Anotherbugga- Been in with some sluggers. Path is softer here.
1. Cracker Pullet- Drops off seasonal debut. Should get away better here.
4. QE Way wired a softer field in latest.
7. Yippy Ki Yeah- hung for life in last. Superfecta value.
Race 13
2. Pop Pop Joe- Gets Milby. Will play catch me if you can.
3. Key West Hanover- made up a large deficit in last to hit board.
1. Art Simpson- soft action here compared to last two.
4. james Riverside- Barn rounding into form. A shot underneath.
