there will be several plays per race.
bet size for each play will vary based on the tote board data analysis.
I'll keep and post records indicating the bet size roi and a flat bet roi.

It eliminates the horse with the largest bet size.

It's bet size is determined in a different fashion than the bet size shown.
I did not realize how well it was doing until I was half way through the process.

I have always tracked it from day 1.

It's the best performing roi of the three , "flat bet roi", "My roi" and "alternate roi"

I first mentioned it in note #80 and started to report on it since note 192.
It then had an roi of 1.23 for a $44.00 profit
Now it has an roi of 1.19 for a $43.00 profit.
It lost $1 in 36 races.

it is profitable in 6 of the 12 days since I started posting.

And in a least 6 of the 12 days I included races with a single pick, which I no longer include since they are not profitable

A preliminary review indicates the value is in the plays where the unit bet size is >=1.15. Yes It includes that 31 unit bet size that lost.
there were 8 other play similar to that, 2 of which won

there were 32 plays >=1.15 with a win rate of 66% compared to the entire data base of 234 races where the win rate was 64%

the flat bet roi for the 32 races was 0.95 (0.83 was expected)
The alternate bet returned a 1.37 roi. $399 in bets returned $548 for a $149 profit

If this continues to show good returns I will review in another 14 days

the play is intended to smooth out the results of a win and exacta play

the key is to have the combined return for the exacta plus the win exceed, on average 1/win %
