Malibu Park has the look of an upsetter @ 30-1, in today's 6th @ TUP.
He doesn't look like much in the PP's..but is he as bad as he looks? I don't think so. He flashed some early foot 3-back--then two blah races..one at a route he didn't belong in. He came back to sprinting last, with the same brand-X jockey--with a nice gesture of adding blinkers--to further the impression of an all-out effort.
He's showing a flurry of activity the past month, the blinks come back off today--he's at his best distance, with a positive rider switch--and note the hidden class drop.
Trainer Sereno's meet record isn't impressive but look at his Stat Box--that positive ROI everywhere is certainly due to a couple longshots--which is what we have today.
Not sure if Sereno can pull this off today, but it certainly appears he's gonna go for it.
