Race 3 – #2 WHITE KNUCKLE RIDE drops back into claiming company. Christian Pilares gets another shot at urging persistent bridesmaid #7 KATHLEEN to keep on running.

Race 4 – Eric Reed’s shippers remain competitive in Austintown; winter trips in Tampa against better brighten hopes for #4 KEPT THE FAITH returning to dirt.

Race 5 – #5 SWEET EXCURSION has done her best running under Luis Gonzalez; she might get loose here. #2 WILD CRAZY BESS must have whittled down most of the n4l competition left on the backside by now; her figs have remained consistent but her will to win is a question mark.

Spot Plays for MVRC 3-21-16:

Race 2: #2 D'ario. This is a highly competitive and a great betting race as many here have been stuck in 4K NW1Y condition for awhile. D'ario should save lots of ground and sit behind possibly 4 horses that go to the lead. Barn needs a break as its 0 for 23 on the win side but has been 2nd or 3rd 10 times this year. Pilares is battling for the lead in the jockey standings.
#3 I'am a Player. I'll go with another 0% barn for 2nd. Also lots of 2nds and 3rds (11) from 30 races. Bracho winning at 20% at MVR sticks. Horse in good form cycle now.
#8 Saratoga Boot. I'll round out my try using a 1 for 49 trainer (13 2nds and 3rds). Did beat half the field in 1st race at MVR after arriving from Tampa. Should improve 2nd race on local surface.

Race 8: #7 Love in Egbert. Gets a slight class drop, back to favorite distance and gets a fast track today. Finished 3rd behind Carolyn M last race. That one dominated here Saturday.
#3 I'm in Fashion. 2nd try at MVR since coming from Louisiana. Could pull the upset if hot jock Bermudez can time it right and the horse has some fight.
#5 Up and Away. 9 year old still can put up some decent figs. Doubt she can win but use underneath in tri and super bets.

Cheap Pick 4: 5/2,3,4,6,9/7,9/3/ $5.00 ticket.

P.S. The Postman is still distraught over the pick 4 on Wednesday 3-16. Somehow no one hit it. Pure fluke as I left over 9K on the table with 3 of 4 winners on different tickets. Different 3 of 4 of course!
