American Casion, Episode 4 on Discovery Channel is about horseracing at SA. It was on last night and I missed it, but will be replayed on July 4th at 1pm and 6 pm.
Here's a link to the show.

I missed it too. Unfortunately it is billed as a "Reality Show" so it may not contain much substance.

It wasn't all that good, it also showed how some casino mgr
upgraded the landscape  Basically it was about 7 guys who were comped and went to santa anita for the day.
The casino mgr's and some steady race book players spent the day at santa anita, played the pick 6, which had a huge carryover that day, lost and had some winners in between. I barely watched the end.

If I remember correctly, these guys were from the Green Valley Station Casino in Henderson.

The Casino itself is very nice (and new), and it's laid out in a modern fashion so you don't need to walk through the casino to get to the restaurants. AND, the Race & Sports book is next to a side entrance that's not very busy, so it's real easy to get in and out.

The whole point of my post...
While they did everything right, they don't allow laptops. I have a very difficult time believing that any of these 7 guys is a "professional" making $$, as was represented in a news article that I saw...
