It looks like there are only 3 real possibilities for President. Sanders will be 76 within his first year in office. Trump 71 and Clinton 70. I'm sorry that's just too damn old. Unfortunately there appears to be no alternative.

Trump is a young 70. ;)

With age comes wisdom. And senility. If you aren't wise by the time you're 50 you'll never be wise. I guess it doesn't really matter. My station in life hasn't changed much the last 16 years regardless of who's President.

With age comes wisdom.
Not always true. Sometimes, age comes ALONE.

Cruz seems to be an appropriate age. :)

I would suggest that everyone running for the Presidency intends to operate the same way as the last fifty years except Donald J.Trump. The cost for our government to do anything costs three times more than it should. Currently kickbacks are the name of the game. The beltway has more pairs of $400 shoes running around who are not elected but connected to the elected. At this juncture age means absolutely nothing, driving a stake into the hearts of those $400 shoes running around driving up the cost of our government is a better litmus test than age.

Luckily, that's not the case w Trump.

I know it's passé to mention him in the age of Trump but the oldest President inaugurated served two terms and did okay by the country.

And by the way... why is Sanders even in the conversation? There is less chance of him being the nominee than any Republican not named Trump.

With Rubio and Cruz finished, I had to rehash this. Whoever wins this election will probably be President for 8 years unless they alienate a lot of people or someone extremely charismatic comes along. They're going to be almost 80 by then. These two dinosaurs are only 7/5 to live that long. This is an absolute outrage. Liberals spent 8 years complaining about Bush and conservatives have spent nearly as long bitching about Obama yet both let this happen. This is the worst election in my adult life.

The smartest people I know are both 75, and we'd be lucky if either ran racing or this country. We need intelligence and ethics in the office. People who are older care far less about the power and wealth that comes with politics than younger ones.

Have you ever been behind a 75 yr old while driving.? I know the PC Police hate what I'm saying but it's true in most cases.

The 75yos in bad health aren't doing anything as energetic as running for President. I wouldn't worry about Trump. The guy is going 24/7?with only about 4 hours sleep per night (his choice, that's all he's ever slept per night). Clearly he's got good health genes.

That certainly doesn't apply to at least 2 of those 3.

This is a macabre statement since you've calculated the odds.
