Ramblings are not always wagers.

Race 4 - #1 TEAM SIX may find another kind rail today. #8 MOVING STYLE disappointed this corner last time but remains a threat late against this field full of early speed.

Race 5 - His return to conditions and solid recent figs give #1 TRUEBILL a chance to catch the early speed that must crossover and tangle early.

Race 6 - The current surface may be a positive for early runner #8 ROCKFIELD.

Spot Plays for MVRC 3-8-16:

Race 4: #3 Abra. This 8 year old has run two of fastest races speed figure wise here since Christmas. Curious to see how he does moving into Opt. 20K company. He did put away Sambucca Steve 12-26 who came back yesterday to win for 10K.
#1 Team Six. Speedy and versatile. He's 4 for 4 in the exacta at MVR and has won from the sometimes difficult 1 post.
#2 Reeder. Might get lost in the wagering. Trainer Smith is 41% at the meet. Both races at MVR were solid with a win and a 3rd.

Race 8: #10 Miss Conspicuos. Now to bottom level F&M maidens. She ran well at Indiana Downs on Halloween against 15K maidens. That was her only race on real dirt. A return to that does it here. ML is 8 to 1, but will go off at about 7/2 IMO.
#8 Count On Diamonds. Another Indiana Downs refugee ran a nice 2nd in her 2nd start at MVR and 1st time sprinting here.
#2 Mon's Leprechaun. Will be well bet on her name alone with St. Patty's Day approaching and a large Irish local population chipping in their $2.00. Was impressive with a bold late move last out. Extra 1/2 furlong only helps. Note Hiraldo goes to top choice. Young Mussaro takes over. He has shown flashes of talent in the saddle.

Good Luck
RR

Did you ever notice that a lot of horses have the word "Irish" in their names? Anything to get some betting action.
