11 race card from Sha Tin tonight, with turf and all weather "good". Will post a few plays here tonight, and see how it goes, after being away for a bit. Mighty big shoes to fill with Nitro being chased off by the naysayers.

Race 1 - 1650 meters on the all-weather. Taking a small each way wager on :5: Novel Start. He may not last the distance, but should be prominent early, and gets a nice post change from his last.

Horse tracking second as my :5: went to the front got the jump and the win.

Race 2: :3: chalk looking strong, playing with :5: :6: in the Q and cheap tri.

I’d like to join you, but I’ve found that I’m able to focus much better and get my bets in more comfortably without having to post selections here too.
I don’t like to red-board but I just crushed the Quinellas in the first 2 races! In fact, when I feel there’s a lot of possible chalk like in the 2nd race, I’m now making the Quinella/Place bets and I hit all 3!

Not a big field here but so far @ 10 mins to post - Race #3 - 1-5 W/ 2-4-3

Nice call there Duncan! I think it was the Perfect selection as a Quinella play and with Flying Mooch dropping in odds from 26/1 @ 15 minsto post to 12/1 @ 5 mins to post was in my Quinella plays.

Could understand if it was a Class 5 race, but have no idea how that one ran so well in there. If it was Evangeline Downs I would say he was plugged in but not in Hong Kong.

It is one of the reasons I like playing Hong Kong with almost every race being a handicap on the weights, would hate it being a trainer though.

I dropped #10 Doyeni after I heard it was lame after its last race and also had a big layoff. I should have stuck with what the Tote showed. Got talked out of that one by the HK announcers. :bang:
