Return of the smoke filled rooms.

If they are still allowed to smoke inside in Cleveland / Ohio. Of course, who's gong to turn them in if they do?

If the GOP changes the rule40 proviso of their convention by-laws a week prior to the Cleveland Convention, then 'hell' breaks loose, and the Democrats win in November, regardless of the GOP nominee.

Rule40 aside, if Trump goes into the Convention 100 delegates short of the minimum, hell, even 200 delegates short, and the GOP still denies him the nomination through procedural chicanary, 'hell' again breaks loose, and the Democrats win in November regardless of the GOP nominee.

Any more games coming from the GOP establishment just might put the Republicans on the brink of extinction as a viable party.

If Trump gets beat in a few states from here on end, especially in Ohio, Florida, California or Pennsylvania, then his supporters will not have a fit and will accept losing if it's on the up-and-up.

If the rules are changed then Trump goes independent. That will give the republicans something to talk worry about because it would be almost 100% certain that Trump or Clinton would become president.

If Trump gets elected as an independent the repubs would lose a lot of ground in the congressional elections due to a backlash.

Trump would also probably appoint people to offices that are unpopular with republicans just to spite them.
