Saratoga Schedule Question

Hey all...

Got mine in the mail today. I opened it up, and I noticed something. Did they cancel the Adirondack and Saratoga Special? I didn't notice them on the calendar.

Personally, I'm not much for the Adirondack, but the Saratoga Special had some prestige to it. This also eliminates any 2YO sweep of the three races for their gender, which kind of bites. Did they cancel them or not?

They canned them. They wanted just two races since they are 2YO's and that in order to keep the Hopeful/Spinaway in shape as great races with deep fields, they needed to eliminate the center races. 2YO's shouldn't be running that often anyways in August.
