Only if it's held in a mosque with ties to terrorism.

I'm sure that's the first thing that crossed the mind of most Americans. Do you think Obama will ask for Cuba to return the murderer Joanne Chesimard to New Jersey while he is there?

Neither do I.

It is more likely he gives her a Presidential Medal of Freedom.

" Batista's increasingly corrupt and repressive government then began to systematically profit from the exploitation of Cuba's commercial interests, by negotiating lucrative relationships with the American mafia, who controlled the drug, gambling, and prostitution businesses in Havana, and with large US-based multinationals who were awarded lucrative contracts.

To quell the growing discontent amongst the populace, Batista established tighter censorship, while ... carrying out wide-scale violence, torture and public executions; ultimately killing anywhere from 1,000 to 20,000 people. For several years until 1959, the Batista government received financial, military, and logistical support from the United States." Wiki

Yep, always great to see people like yourself on the right side of fascist torturers, who were arm in arm with the Mob and receiving baksheesh from American foreign policy! Great job!

I don't consider it name calling. I consider it an accurate assessment of someone who would think it possible that Obama would attend the funeral of Castro's older brother; or Castro's younger brother; or Castro himself. Do you think there is any chance that Obama would do so?

Or, maybe Fast 4522 doesn't really think Obama is going to attend the funeral. Maybe he just posted that as a put down of Obama. In which case he is still a............you know.

http://www.northjersey.com/news/fugitive-nj-cop-killer-chesimard-s-return-from-cuba-possible-1.1309796

American and Cuban diplomats plan to begin discussing the possible return to the United States of Joanne Chesimard, the convicted killer of a New Jersey state trooper, and other fugitives as part of a broader effort to restore diplomatic relations between the two nations, a State Department spokesman said on Wednesday.

on Wednesday, the State Department went out of its way to portray the discussions over Chesimard, Morales and other fugitives as a key element in the overall diplomatic negotiations.

A State Department spokes*man, Jeff Rathke, specifically noted that Chesimard and Morales would be part of upcoming talks over law enforcement issues between the two nations.

But here is a question. Chesimard has been in Cuba since 1984. What did Ronald Reagan do to extradite her? What did George H.W. Bush do? What did George W. Bush do? At least Obama has opened negotiations.

She is one of the numerous reasons we could have used to invade Cuba and eliminate the communist regime. All presidents are at fault for letting the Castro boys stay in power.

I nominate you to lead the invasion force. Your idea is ridiculous. It would cost way to many American lives just to eliminate a regime that is less than a gnats bite on our butt. If we were successful, all we would do is drive the Cuban communists into the hills. We would have to maintain a huge military presence. If you think the Cubans would welcome us with open arms, you're nuts.

That's not even considering what China and North Korea might do. We have troops in the Middle East. If we invade Cuba, how long do you think it would be before North Korea invaded South Korea? Possibly with the aid of China. We have about 39,000 troops in South Korea. They would not last a week.

Dumbest idea ever.

ETA: OOOPS I forgot about Russia.

No sir, I hate communism and it is not a phobia. I hope long after we are dead and buried hopefully the majority of American's hate commies and always find them repugnant. This foreign policy we have now is a tutorial of what to not do in the future, enjoy your leftmost self now.

I agree.

I think the whole point is that our current commander in chief probably identifies more closely with a guy like Castro than he does with any of the founders of this country.

We already know he identifies more with Muslim terrorists than he does with Christians and Jews. The Iranians are already using the billions of dollars we just gave them as part of that nuclear deal to encourage terrorists to attack Israel (something that every human being with a functioning brain knew would happen).

I can't believe I am responding to this non sense. All we have to do is use our intelligence sources and in the middle of the night drop hundreds of bombs on the government buildings and the Castro boys and it would all be over in one night. Cubans hate Castro, they want democracy, and we should give it to them.

North Korea is all talk, they know any attack on South Korea and that is the end of their regime in a matter of days. China would not come to their rescue.
