I will also add that at Tampa Bay, you absolutely can't be afraid of putting price horses on top just like we saw in the last 2 races. Especially in cheap claimers and Maidens.

If you are just starting out, trying to grind out chalk at Tampa Bay is going to be nearly impossible to do and come out ahead. Leave that to the professionals that put in the serious work and time as they'll pick their spots appropriately.

Thanks for the encouragement! My data ranks First Time Starters as 0.0 (no ranking) so unless I include them automatically, I will miss them both as contenders and longshots. This I see as a problem. What I could do is list Contenders, Lonshots, and FTS's...Vig

There is typically a "Longshot" thread that Chris Longshot, Racetrack Play, Dartman51, or others will throw out there. I'll be playing Santa Anita today, so if one hasn't started by then I'll put one up.

This is entirely new to me and I am new to the board..so maybe I should not post picks but I just want to be part of the "live" conversation with others...until I learn more from them...haven't been successful yet...Regards

The :9: in the prior race ruined what could have been a really big payoff. But believe me, I'm happy I had the :9: , lol.

I'm not succesful the majority of the time with my picks. Sometimes you do get on a run though. I dont use all of the fancy info. Most of the time I just use the racing form.
