I would take everything with a grain of salt. There are lots of posters here who bet real time and kill it with their picks, but in my experience it's best to utilize these posts as a guideline and do your own due diligence.

That being said, I bet exactas for the most part with top 2-3 horses I like after said DD

I want my ticket to all be at least potentially cashable....If I box horses I know that only 1 combo will win...so I have many wasted combos...Was thinking more along these lines...

a to win, a/bc, a/bc/bcd, a/bc/bcd/bcde...

That way at least all ticket are at least potentially winning combinations..
