Joe 'Magic Man' Moreira mount in the first Wednesday night at Happy Valley clipped heals entering the stretch and went down with a few horses racing behind him. Looked bad, but first reports are that he is just very sore.

Douglas Whyte thrown into a rail when his mount got away from him in the warm up for the third race, strange night so far.
