Anybody see this race?
I bet the #5 (Wounded Warrior) with Chris Page. Coming down the straight Page looks like he going to take the passing lane. Only there is no passing lane at Miami Valley.
Anyway, Page finally pulls out and loses by a nose. All the way around the Clubhouse turn after the race Page is gesturing and talking to winning driver (Tyler Smith) like Smith did something wrong. Then Smith drives back toward the winner's circle with his eyes on the toteboard like he's expecting an inquiry or objection. But no inquiry and no objection by Page or the trainer he's driving for - no nothing. The race was declared official.
Any thoughts on why Page was so upset?
Do driver's ever lodge an objection in harness racing? (I can't remember ever seeing one.)
