Good Day,

When doing your derby scouting at this time of year what are you looking for in these races? I like to see the horses the keep gaining ground from the midway point on. Last year 2 horses who I liked because of that was Keen Ice and Danzig Moon. Keen Ice developed into a good horse and unfortunatly Danzig Moon we never got to see the best of. RIP buddy...

Keen Ice was one of the highest on my list too, mostly due to sire line.
My favorite sire lines are the main thing I use to get my list started each year, then temper that with results as the preps unfold.
I like to see a horse that competes in brilliance, but really shines the more he stretches out. To be a horse I like to play he needs to be something of a late developer.
