Was watching the head on replay that NYRA had.. look like the #7 with Anthony Suarez veered into the back hip of #2 with Harry Hernandez, causing the #7 to miss step, or clip heels and go down.

Twinspires video immediately, switched to another track once the results were official... offered no replay

Think the horses involved besides the #7, were the #6 with Katie Davis and one other was the roan .. maybe the #11 with Dylan Davis (?)

Looked like Dylan got right up and went over to Katie who was still down. Suarez was down inside the rail. The #11 and #6 continued to run to the wire and looked to be fine amazingly. The #7 got up and trotted away it seems. Hopefully Katie and Suarez are fine and everyone walks away from that horrible spill, fine.

Great news. That was so bad and they seem to be OK. No better athlete than a jockey. They put their lives on the line like that every day. Hopefully they are all back soon.

Ouch! I hairline cracked my sternum in a 50 MPH head on collision 8 months ago and it is VERY painful. Every deep breath can hurt and a cough/sneeze will bring you to your knees. It took about 3 months to heal. I sure hope he is not in too much pain and heals quickly(and doesn't need to sneeze/cough a lot). Prayers go out to all involved.

Monumental pain. For Suarez, rest and recover, and don't dare catch cold! Longshot, glad you've lived through such an accident and recovery ordeal.
