For a long time now, Sean Penn has been my favorite actor....note I didn't say favorite person.
But this is beyond ridiculous.
He interviews a brutal murderous drug kingpin who's directly or indirectly ruined & ended countless lives ?
How the hell does that happen?

I'm gonna sound like Tom here - :D - but revoke this man's American citizenship now!

If so, Mr. Penn will be looking over his shoulder the rest of his life.

Next we need to send Penn to North Korea to take a picture with Kim Jong Un. Dennis Rodman has tried and failed there, but Penn gets results.

Does he have a show or something? I don't get it. I think the guy is about as good an actor as we have (basically by process of elimination as much as talent), but is he such a legend in his own mind that somehow this seemed like a smart or necessary idea?

Maybe if Chapo gets extradited to the US,
we can put about 15 ankle GPS devices on him,
and let him stay at one of Mr. Penn's plush accommodations?

Let's face it.
It would be a more secure detention than
he has encountered in Mexico in recent years.

I have less of a problem with Mr. Guzman that the millions of Americans who are his customers.

What do you think J. Edgar Hoover would have done to Spicoli when he got back into the States?

That's as dumb as it gets.

He says that is not true, just the Mexican government saying that because he found him first. I am not sure I follow this logic, but some say he should be worried before he disappears...

Penn is one of those leftists that goes beyond thinking American can be improved. He hates America.

The safest thing to do is turn yourself in to the authorities
and let the Mexicans decide.

Maybe not, Penn might have talked with him about a future movie. What if by strange luck El Chapo escapes again, what a joke the movie will make of the government.

Sicario is coming for Penn, the sexpot might get off.

What a stupid move. And he could not clearly explain it because we all know he thought it would be cool.

I kinda feel sorry for him

Didn't one of the network types interview bin Laden post-911 when we were hunting him? Pretty sure there have been others too. So what's the difference? I thought the journalist was wrong for not handing over bin Laden, but there wasn't an outcry then that I recall.
