Spot plays for MVRC 1-9-16:
Race 3: #9 Judge M. Lightly raced 4 year old gelding is bred to go long and is out of a productive dam. He hasn't shown much sprinting but this MSW comes up a bit light on talent. #7 Twilight Journey. More realistically place here for the 6 year old maiden. He finished last his 1st 3 races in Kentucky facing much better horses on dirt and turf. Showed some life against 15K maidens at Turfway last out. #6 Comeonwillie. Has finished 3rd three times in a row including a distant 3rd in his 1st try vs. MSW's. The morning line of 7/2 shows the fields weakness as he's been double digits much of his career.
Race 5: #8 Ten Cent Hat: Has made it look easy since arriving here. Goes for 3 in a row as she moves thru her lifetime conditions. #3 Our Secret Place. 6 year old mare is running back into shape after being off for about two years. Can get over the hump if some of the horses moving up stub their toes. #10 Giveitmybestshot. Sullivan barn is on fire now. She also goes for 3 in a row. could be a banner day for the young Trainer.
