I got tipped off to this race. 5 horse field, and it comes down to a photo finish between the 5, who is 1-1 and the 4, who is 8-1.
Track announcer Gary Seibel calls the 4 in front by a head at the wire, and the replay appears to show the same thing.
After about a minute, they incredulously post the 5 as the winner over the 4. About 30-45 seconds pass, the race is then declared official. No prices are posted, but the official sign is on the board.
Almost 90 seconds pass before the track announcer had to make the Steve Harvey like announcement that it was actually the 4 that had beaten the 5.

I think you'd have a legitimate beef if you bet the 5 in the race to win and on top of the exotics since the race was declared official.
