Wichita State yes....I'm not sure about Evansville... Either way it wouldn't be by much. Nothing against Monmouth... They have had some great wins this season but the value is gone. The linesmakers have adjusted so I'm not sure betting them the rest of the way is going to be profitable. I could be wrong.

Probably. I'm sure its much smaller than Wichita State and Evansville. And probably Valpo and St Marys, although I think Horizon League and the West Coast Conference are basically small schools.

Thanks... I love that conference that Evansville plays in too, FWIW.

I will never forget reading the papers in 1967 about Southern Illinois, with Walt Frazier.

SIU was considered the small school darling in that year's NIT, which it won over Marquette I think. One sports writer wrote asking how could Southern Illinois be called a small school, and Providence a large school, when one (SIU) has 22,000 students and Providence 2,500?

I still think Monmouth is very capable of an NCAA tourney upset win if given a chance.

Seems to me there are more than a few thugs on this team, and I hate that.

Watched the end of Duke/NC St game. What a waste. Foul, foul, foul. It took about 15 minutes to play the final minute. Basketball is getting unwatchable. College and NBA. I will take the NFL and MLB over basketball any day, in terms of being interesting.

The foulfests and constant timeouts really do kill the flow, especially in college. Unfortunately, the college coaches have too much say on the competition committee and thus fans are stuck with it.

Even American football, too many timeouts for my liking. CFL's late-game rules keep the game flowing better.

Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio interviewed Katina Powell on his show today. She said more than 22 girls were involved with the set up. The big 5 details that really matter coming out of it:

1. Said 7-8 players from the 2013 team participated.

2. Said a player let them in at first. Wasn't going to reveal name because Smrt said it was actually a different player. Lawyer then said during commercial - but still on Periscope! - she thought it was Chane Behannon, but Smrt said they knew it was a different player.

3. The money was brought in banded. This was not an ATM run as was implied before.. Gives credence to it coming from elsewhere.

4. At some point, they started going in the front door of Minardi Hall - right past security. The dorm was named after Pitino's B-I-L who died in the 9/11 attacks. Stay classy Rick.

5. Powell commented, on the air live, that she had one girl who could "Squirt to the Ceiling."
