Picks for Hollywood Saturday:
R1 - #5 Sigfreto-Former classy runner drops into a good spot. Switches to Garcia, a jock that has won with him before. Has shown good early speed on occasion, a valuable commodity in this field. An aggressive ride would be good here.
R2 - #7 Brother Roy-His two dirt races are decent. Low profile barn means a good price likely.
R3 - #2 Excessive Hayate-Lightly raced runner should clear these early. Ran well here in his debut.
R4 - #7 Lights Out Toney-May prove to be a good claim by good barn. Certainly showed gameness by grinding out a win in his debut after chasing a decent pace.
R5 – Pass-Big favorite, no price
R6 - #7 Blue Corner-Barn does well with FTS. Flores sees fit to ride.
R7 - #10 OK Mikie-May get the pace he needs to set up his late run. 10/1 or better and I’ll take it.
R8 – Pass- Can’t go past the two ML favs.
R9 - #12 Nut Lovin-Gets mcl and blinkers. Should be a factor from the start
