Lead singer of legendary metal group Motorhead has passed away.
What can I say - the high school version of me is crying somewhere.
When you're a kid, some guys just seem larger than life and indestructible.
Lemmy was that guy.

The Kilmister is gone
(I am going to throw down in honor of Lemmy when I get home tonight, and SO SHOULD YOU!!!!)

Just had a tribute to him on WWE Raw. He was hooked up with a lot of the wrestlers, including Triple H (his theme songs) and Jericho (Fozzy). He played live at several live events.

RIP we lost a good one.

Believe it or not I was at that show last night and the tribute is how I learned he died. I'll always remember him as the elder statesman/voice of reason in the great music documentary The Decline of Western Civilization Part 2: The Metal Years. Definitely worth a watch if that is a genre you enjoy.

Lemmy did everything fast, apparently including dying. Found out he had cancer just last Saturday. At least he didn't suffer long. RIP.

This short clip (not Lemmy) from that doc is completely unforgettable.
