Spot Plays for MVRC 12-28:

Race 5: #7 Right Now. No match for Solar Maximus and some other guys that are in race 2 today last out at 7.5K. Back in with 4K. #2 One Fast Sarava. Weaved from the 1 hole all the way to be 9 wide in the stretch at this level last race. #5 Dutton's Pride. Barn on fire. Went to Turfway and popped and stopped. Almost won at 79-1 this level last time at MVR.

Race 6: Showing signs of life after being off almost 2 years. 3rd off layoff and gets hot jock Rosendo. #10 Solitary. Ditto with jock switch and 3rd off layoff. Likes the mud too. #11 P Town Boo. Has perfect post and lots of early speed but has not done well on off surfaces lately.

Race 9: Always a body blow to the Postman. Like in this order: 11,2,9,1,12.
Tread lightly with that one.

Good Luck

RR

Have to go with the :3: race 1. Time wise he seems like the option.

Barely got that one. I'll take it though. Had :3: over the :5: / :7: straight.

Any thoughts on the :3: the second race? First time coming back to a mile 70 in sometime. Looks like he closed in most of his races since. Maybe just did not have enough time to close?

I think Im going to play small on the :3: and go with gibs picks in a :3: / :4: / :5: exacta box.

Ouch - gib's picks haven't made gib much $ - tread lightly

The :3: helped in the first. I thought possible the :3: would make an effort in the second. I think odds were too high though.

Never seen a $415.20 horse before. Is that a record?

pk4 had 1 winning ticket

pk3 r5,6,7 (4/1, 6/5, 206/1) had 3 winning tickets

pk3 r7,8,9 (206/1, 5/1, 7/1) had 7 winners.

Looks like there was some inside info.

Kurt Hoover when he was on HRTV would always say hit the all button when

you have a few solid horses in either leg of a pick 3 or 4. Today you had a

solid 11 horse and a solid 3 horse so 11/all/3 was there to be had. :bang:

I played a pick 4 and was alive with the 11 which would have paid a 3/4

payout of $21.40 Couldn't believe it was hit with the 6 in the last race.

Very confusing day at the races. Hit a pick 3 and 2 tri's but didn't profit

much  I guess its either Chalks away or bombs away.

Great handicapping by Gibs hit a $200+ tri on saturday. Keep up the good work!!

Spreading at MVRC = "Damned if you do, damned if you don't." Hitting the all button usually gets the favorite home for me. Somebody knew when to pull the trigger this afternoon.

I just read that the trainer had $5 win ticket. She didn't mention any other wagers. She ponied the horse to the gate - pretty cool.
