Balmoral is (soon to be 'was') my favorite track of all tracks whether harness or T-bred. I made the most profit there for about 15 years. I will sadly miss it and wish someday for its return. I have many great memories with my friends making nice scores there. I love the way they used to fan out at the top of the stretch and almost any horse had a good chance at victory. Lots of nice priced longshots on many nights. Good bye old friend.

I wonder where the racing stock will go ?....Sales? Aces? Hoosier?Hawthorne will be running harness starting next week for about a month before having a regular meet from May until September. Problem with that is from February thru April there isn't really anywhere else locally to go. Hoosier opens in April and the purses are good there so whomever leaves Illinois may not come back unless they aren't getting in to race often enough.
