Race One:

2 BOSAK draws a much-improved post on what promises to be a soggy day in The Catskills. This Andover Hall-bred trotter took the overland route in his last from an “outside” post. This 4 year-old finished a game third in solid closing time. He may well head out for the lead here. Larry Stalbaum reprises the drive.

Others: 7 DW’S SPARTICUS; 4 MASTER BEDROOM; 5 MR DEMOLITION MAN

Race Two:

2 LULU’S BOY won his last convincingly against somewhat better. This Art Major-bred should be out and going when the wings retract. Solid wet-track pedigree and record. Jim Marohn, Jr. in the bike.

Others: 5 SENSATIONALIST; 1 FUGUZZI, 4 SHAWANDA

Race Three:

1 ART AGAIN ships downstate from Saratoga where he finished third a-head from the advantageous second-tier nine-hole. This Dragon Again-bred draws inside and should be able to use the rail to his advantage. This 4 year-old – although winless on a wet track – has hit the tote in over half of his wet-track tries. Jason Ryan for Jeff Amann.

Others: 2 RAVENNA STAR; 8 RUSTY SKIPP; 3 JACKS AFTER HOURS

Race Four:

1 SGT CHARLIE has faced better, draws inside and switches from the trainer to the most capable driver, Mike Merton. This gelding has hit the tote in more than half of his wet-track tries.

Others: 3 DONTTAKEYOURGUNS; 2 FOOLS RUN AROUND; 4 SUPER KILLEAN

Race Five:

2 DOCTOR GATES has faced better at both “The Spa” and Monticello. Ideal two-hole starting post. Can handle a wet track. Jason Ryan in the bike.

Others: 3 THAT’S IDEAL; 2 BOYS OF FALL; 1 IDEAL ROMANCE

Race Six:

6 COACH FOX had a decent qualifier leading him to this race. This aged gelding with loads of back-class should handle the expected muddy conditions. Larry Stalbaum in the sulky.

Others: 1 MY CINNAMON GIRL; 2 GRACE N CHARLIE; 7 SARABOO

Race Seven:

3 PENN TURBO TED is my longshot, upset try on today’s card. This veteran Big Towner-bred gelding has loads of back-class; he should handle the sloppy conditions.

Others: 1 STAMPED BY DESIGN; 7 FREYJA; 8 K J BRENT

Race Eight:

3 POP ICON has been the model of consistency. This Magical Mike-bred gelding faces somewhat weaker here. Jim Taggart, Jr. is in the bike.

Others: 5 THISGUYSAROCKSTAR; 8 FOR KEVIN’S SAKE; 2 MAJOR BLUE COAT

Race Nine:

7 BRANDON’S ESCAPE should be able to overcome his outside post and prevail here. This Camluck-bred horse has won two straight at Saratoga. Greg Merton is in the sulky.

OTHERS: 1 FOX VALLEY LEO; 4 FUTURE LIFE; 5 PUTNAM’S ART

Race Ten:

6 LITTLE ANNA MAE has won four of her last six against somewhat better. This mare should be out and going when the wings retract. Jason Ryan in the sulky.

Others: 1 CAVIART SAVANNAH; 3 CAM DAN KADANDY; 7 GIVEMYBEST HANOVER
