The Early Double:
Race One:
:5: PARK RANGER has previously faced MSW company at both Prx and Mth. This highly-priced Mineshaft-bred ridgling did finish second in the second of three previous tries. He turns back to a six-panel sprint and drops in for a tag. This ridgling’s trainer, Jason Servis, does well in many racing categories; yet he is looking for his first win of the Aqueduct meet. One caveat: This horse has been away from the races for over three months. Harry Hernandez, a solid “bug,” is in the irons.

:2: MILKYYOURWAY. This Fusaichi Pegasus-bred, 6 year-old mare is dropping to her lowest level in memory. Frankly, this Andromeda’s Hero-bred has struggled at higher levels; yet it is hard to ignore this mare at such a low claiming tier. It should be noted that some of her better racing efforts have come on the lawn; yet her only win did come on the main. The veteran Aaron Gryder reprises the ride for trainer Dominick Schettino. It should be noted that trainer Schettino does well when going from turf to dirt.
