If you use trainer stats in your handicapping, you may want to check out this book,
The Horseplayer’s Guide to Advanced Trainer Profiling” Its a digital download The examples and discussion involves examples from Tampa Bay Downs but it can be adopted for any track Those of you who are spreadsheet savy, this is right up your alley,as the author shows how to use what he calls multiple angle trainer profiles Im not so i got to get the construction paper & magic markers out! I like what ive read so far More info here:

It says to email him directly(address is there) to get the book seperately That's what I did and he'll tell you where to send $10 & you get a choice of a Google drive link or I think Dropbox

Yep  I think you'll find it interesting if you like using trainer stats ,especially if you can Set up the spreadsheet I'm going to do it like Beyer did 40 years ago with his speed fig-construction paper & magic markers LOL

I am so overwhelmed by the response to my new book here on PA that I'd like to offer the Moderator a free subscription to my site or I will make a donation to PA, just to show my appreciation.

Thanks again!

Not a FLA player John, but have to say....your site ROCKS on cool factor alone.

I've been called a lot of things....but cool is not one of them. That makes my day.....wish I could participate more on this great forum but I'm like Jeb Bush....."low energy".

Will certainly make an effort going forward.

I think anyone who uses trainer stats in their handicapping could definitely get something out of Barile's book....

I heard Mr Barile's interview with Dave Schwartz many moons ago...does anyone know if there have been others? I thought his handicapping style was beneficial when factored in addition to other things I look at.....
Looks like he had put out a book....anyone up on it?
Are there other trainer handicappers out there that are interesting?
