I saw him play in Baltimore at the then Civic Center. He played for the Syracuse Nationals, was a center, and shot a 2 handed set shot.

His son also played in the NBA

Yeah, like Curtis I remember him as a Syracuse National - he used to kill the Knicks in the mid-late 50's.

I remember his set shot, and I think he took underhand free throws (not sure).
