Okay...this trading back and forth is getting old. Time to break out the big guns, but keeping in mind my small starting BR.
One way to use the Bris Summary to win is to find a vulnerable favorite--red flags go up when you're looking at a 2nd tier dirt track and an otherwise good-stats horse hasn't had a race in 60 + days. You'll get burned sometimes ...but you'll also cash-- tossing out those types.

Your "system" did real good here. Just want to give you some feed back and a question. I have noticed the Bris speed angle you are talking about also because I use a Bris summary play but for closers in show betting.

So the question is when you say horse must be the top E-1, E-2 in the race, Are you talking "last race" or are you talking "ave dist/surf/pace/ speed" category or "best pace" category?

If you are talking about "last race" then you have to physically scroll and look at all of the horses in the race and not stick to the Bris summary page because as you know the EARLY PACE LAST RACE category is only for the E2 point in sprints and E1 is not shown. And in routes its the opposite. In routes the EARLY PACE LAST RACE is for the E1 fraction and E2 is not shown. So adding the E1 and E2 as an elimination rule probably creates even more winners by covering this bit of misleading info on the Bris summary page. Good job.

So feedback is that in race 6&7 you stuck to your system and won. In race 8 your system play should have been the winner which you noted as your second choice. Your first choice did not qualify.

Also should be noted that all three of these winners you had were also the top in the Bris "run style" category. In other words potential lone speeds. I normally am attracted to a horse with the top EARLY PACE LAST RACE and the top "run style" because it seems "run style" usually beats early pace figs when the horses break. So if I adopted your play I would add the "run style" to my qualification. That's just me being cautious.

I looked at your pick at Ded #8 on 12/9 who ran out and again the horse should not have qualified because it was in a 3 way tie for EARLY PACE LAST RACE. And when you have a horse such as FORMALLY WILD, with a 13 point advantage over its next rival in EARLY PACE LAST RACE, I agree its hard to resist even at chalk odds.

I probably didn't explain myself very well---I don't have a "sytem", so to speak...the only few plays I have that have hard-and-fast rules--are a couple longshot plays. The play I described last night was a mechanical play, but that isn't my main method. The horse I chose looked much better on paper.

I'm using Bris Summary only....no PP's at all. When I mention Top E-1 * E-2 I mean the AVG DIST/SURF PACE-SPEED......not the "best pace"

Sounds good, Pandy-man. Keep me posted. Someone just pmed me asking about the Bris Summary--they personally don't see enough info there to bet with. Well, if you think about it...there is so much info packed into that one sheet, it's incredible. Pace figs, Class, Avg Speed, Recent Speed, and so on. Can you even find a software program, that sums all that up, on 1 or 2 sheets of paper, where you can see every horse ranked any number of ways...and if you bet in-house w/Twinspires--it's free. I'm gonna get in trouble if I say any more, because they aren't a sponsor of this site, and I don't work for Bris or Twinspires or this site either.

Thanks for the feedback, Al.......not on full-tilt, yet. By "pots" you mean bankrolls, right? I've lost my share, and then some.
The only reason I'm doing this is to have some fun with it--I don't mind staying on the edge, at all. There's a horse running at Los Al today in the 2nd -- KRONWALL ..looks like a lock. If I wanted to be dumb, could just take the balance of my bankroll and put it on that horse to win.
But that's not what horseplayers do. That would be "full-tilt" amateur hour.
