For all those companies with their bright idea's to send work to India....

GOOD FOR YOU!!!

Morgan Stanley , for instance , sent 350 jobs to India....within last year.
Now, they are running crazy because all the work needs to come back to their depleted forces because all of India's facilities are under water...
With most firms realizing that India wasn't the solution to getting the job done pulled back the work some time ago....
MS being so cost conscious (cheap) didn't reap the warnings..

Now they are going to pay the piper...

We had our 3,000 person engineering offices in Chennai, and I've been there a couple times. Even in the best of times, transportation is dicey. As for the work, most engineering companies are completely integrated in that drawings and meetings are virtual and work can be completed regardless of location. Doesn't mean I like our jobs going there though.
