I never new their were numerical rankings for tennis players.

CJ,
how are your rankings adjusted for the different surfaces (hardness) that you play on. AND are these rankings transferable to grass and clay?

I've had to play 5.0s in the over 40 league, pretty sure I'll never be a 5.0! I almost won a set, that is about it.

CJ does your brother play the ponies?

Yes, though these days he is mostly a big stakes race day player due to his work schedule.

Will you send me a signed 8x10? It's about time I replace my Gautama Buddha print with a more inspiring figure.

I'll admit it took me a few seconds to remember where I knew the name Curtis LeMay...well played.

I confess to being somewhat of a dinosaur (and don't even use the company line period) but my game "missing out on almost everything" and being handicapped by "preconceived biases" may be taking it a tad bit too far even for a chronic self-depreciator like myself.

I wasn't saying you were or anything, just found it interesting. The hardest part for TFUS is trying to get people to try something new, that is all. We aren't affiliated with the write of that piece or anything, but he is a customer.

That is a pretty interesting article cj. I wish I had read that before I spouted off at you awhile back :D. Thanks for your service man. I tried to get in the Air Force in the mid 80's but they wouldn't take me because I had just had knee surgery. That was a pisser. Eventually got my A&P license though. But never got to use it. Anyway, since you like books if you haven't read "The Fit Racehorse" by Tom Ivers give it a read. It was a very good book. Not really practical to implement but interesting nonetheless
