Trying to squeeze some value out of this card at the Big A today, and I'll try with the :5: here under Irad.
If Joel doesn't jump them out the gate on the big chalk :4: I think Irad can grab the lead and hopefully hang in there a long way...9-1 is a good enough price to take a shot. The only other possibility is the :3: and that's the only one besides the chalk that can beat me here.
I've always loved the "turf sprint to dirt route" angle, although 7f on turf usually plays more like a route than a sprint.

Wilson doesn't go with Midnight Aria. Doodle is left to chase/duel as Where's the Widget sets poodle fractions and cruises. Husbands is WIDEST with the 4 and finishes meekly. DaSilva is making them look like idiots. Of course, there was the obligatory odds hit during the race when the 4 was allowed to crawl.

How bad is David Moron? Contreras is stumbling and bumbling through the stretch on the wrong lead on the INEPT Carroll's horse and Moron still can't get by him for 3rd. TRI would've payed over $100. Decent exacta and win payoffs, however.

Had the exacta and added a win bet on the 2 late given the odds (used 9,5,2 on top in exactas and tris). But Husbands absolutely killed me when he couldn't hold 3rd in the lane. :bang: Liked the 9 and 2 off their race two back. What a score this would've been.

It's the late money coming in the last few seconds. It happens all the time. I had a horse that was 1/2 today and odds jumped to 1/5 after the race was completed. How that is, I guess we will never know?

Anyone who has any doubt that Contreras is RETARDED really needs to watch this race. Does all he can to blow up the race ;with an assist from the mental midget Alderson on the 1. Luckily the other half of the entry got it done for an easy (cold) TRI.

Great race, that appears to be full of pace.
If there are multiple moves and the race collapse, then either the :11: or :12: will win. Otherwise, :5: is the best of the pace horses.
Additionally,
Going to try to get home two longshots:
:2:, Paso Doble: if the race doesn't come completely apart, this one will end up with a perfect trip, just behind the speed
:8:, Excaper: hate this horse and I think Black is an idiot. However, it's not fast enough to go with the early horses and just might benefit by sitting just off them.
