Customer: Hell yes, I can retire! I just won $8,000,000!

Casino: No, you won $80.

Here is my question. What did the machine above say was the most that could be won on a pull. If the answer is say 800,000 then she doesn't have a leg to stand on. If the mega pot was 8.5 million then she has a case. This seems so simple to figure out. It would be like me going to play a pick 3 lottery ticket that has a maximum win of 500 dollars and the teller runs it for 5 million and then says the machine is broke. I would not demand the 5 million, I know better.

Good reason to totally boycott that lying POS casino.
I hope she wins the law suit and gets triple for damages.
And the crap hole is forced to close down.

Pay the lady!

The slot machines always "malfunction" in favor of the casino. It's about time one of them "malfunctioned" in favor of the player.

The link posted in the thread that went dead said it was a nickel machine and she somehow ran $100 through it. Whatever the case, I would imagine the casino has a good case in that you don't play a hundred dollar spin on a nickel machine. Whether the machine malfunctioned or not the player's a fault by putting the wrong amount of money in the machine.
Some of the dumbest people you'll ever run across aren't in Walmart, bus stations, or sports games. They're in casinos:)

It's kinda like how like when a wrong price rings up in a dept store, it always seems to be wrong in favor of the house, funny how that works.

Or when you leave the drive thru only to find out your 6 items you ordered only have 4 in the bag, never 8.

I've had different experiences, I find that I get extra items more than I'm stiffed. The other day I got takeout and they accidentally bagged up someone else's entire order with mine although I did get stiffed out of bread the other day so maybe it evens out :D

I have not used the drive thru in decades. I learned my lesson. I never leave the counter without checking the bag thoroughly. Do you remember Joe Pesci in Lethal Weapon when he said "you always get screwed going though the drive thru." Never again for me.

This wasnt a drive thru joint, it was an actual restaurant.
