Week 9:

Eagles at Cowboys, Pandy's Pick: Eagles - 3. Without Tony Romo the Cowboys simply haven't been very good. Matt Cassel is past his prime and now he'll be wearing a knee brace for this game. I expect the Eagles to apply good pass pressure. The Eagles have a good defense and Dallas is struggling offensively now.

Falcons at 49ers, Pandy's Pick: Falcons -7. Atlanta started out red hot but they're offense has been prone to mistakes and penalties recently and they've lost two of their last three games. But, San Francisco has all sorts of problems. They traded their best receiver, tight end Vernon Davis. They benched their starting QB and they are going to Blaine Gabbert, who hasn't started a game since 2013. On top of that, the 49ers have key injuries.

Good job with those teasers. Years ago I used to think they were easy money in the pros - just take that three teamer with home teams and decent defense. But after watching too many of them cash while my picks were covering the spread without the 10 extra points, or a couple of turnovers result in a blowout, I lost interest in them.

The risk/reward ratio at laying 6 to win 5 is not for a player like me - with high std dev in the outcomes..... :)
