I thought she was familiar and found out online that she was famous for a series of nude porno photos as can be seen on Nudography.com. This ad wasn't banned. It was made to be aired during the Super Bowl and the NFL, purveyor of all that is right in America, decided it was too racy. The cheerleaders for several teams wear less making such a debate ridiculous. It is also apparently part is of a series of similar commercials Carl's Jr has been doing for years. If you don't like stuff like this then why do you keep bringing up this website? You've just done great advertising. She's a model who makes a ton of money on her looks. I'd rather see a fun spirited commercial like this than the long stream of homophobic commercials the Super Bowl seems to have every year.

Really, only one commercial made me uncomfortable, bobphilo....I'm watching the Superbowl with family, friends, young kids, etc....commercials are playing---all of a sudden there's a lull in the conversation, and the TV's on pretty loud anyway--the guy can be heard saying: "IF YOU HAVE AN ERECTION LASTING MORE THAN 48 HOURS CALL YOUR DOCTOR".... awkward moment.
My wife got up and turned the tv down. This was the first year they had run these commercials--we were literally stunned. (other than the "frat-boy" contingent-who laughed their a@@ off)

I never claimed that the commercialization of sex was the worst problem with racing. Drug use is a very serious matter. This is just one thing that is a bad thing for the industry. Kate Upton is a model. Her claim to fame is being photogenic. She has done some nudes, as many models do. She also got her cell phone hacked and some sex footage released without her consent, which has happened to many female celebrities.

No big revelation there. But as a social species we have evolved with certain standards of sexual expression. The modern media has pushed the envelope not to enhance our survival but to make a quick profit at the expense of society. If the only imperative was to get laid rape would be socially acceptable. What has let us survive as a species is that our sexual energy is directed at our partner, not some sexy model. However, we are now living in a virtual sexual world at the expense of our real life sexual partners. It troubles me to see how rabidly posters here defend their virtual sexual mate as if she were there their real life partner.

Really, only one commercial made me uncomfortable, bobphilo....I'm watching the Superbowl with family, friends, young kids, etc....commercials are playing---all of a sudden there's a lull in the conversation, and the TV's on pretty loud anyway--the guy can be heard saying: "IF YOU HAVE AN ERECTION LASTING MORE THAN 48 HOURS CALL YOUR DOCTOR".... awkward moment.
