Hiya everyone. First time poster. I've been following for about 4 months. My in-laws got me into horse racing, and as a numbers person, it is something I've determined that I can conquer. I'd like to try some superfecta selections out and see how I do. I've done a lot of backtesting, and I think I might have something working. My base wager is a 10 cent 3/4/5/6 wager for a $8.10 total.

Been nice to hit that big one huh? I used to play these 10cent supers--glad you've done some studying up and testing.

I used Prime Power or Profit Line top 5 in this format:

$3.60 gets you a lot of coverage, my friend. One other thing---don't let the tracks dictate your wager---if you set out to make 10cent supers, and the track only offers 20cent supers--screw 'em....make a note of it, and go elsewhere. Too many tracks to play, for you to have to bow to them.

Yeah, they're easier--to empty your 'roll. Unless you're a math expert and have studied these wagers endlessly, they're just fun bets, Unicorn. Boxing 4 horses for a dime will run you $2.40....boxing 5 is $12. Winning just one for over a hundred dollars is considered a nice score, and because the Racing Gods smiled on you today---they won't be so generous tomorrow. Also, there are few insults in racing worse than hitting a 10cent super ticket, that cost you $12---and seeing on the screen that dime superfecta paid $1.40.

I actually didn't play it over 5 tickets, since the ticket became too expensive. A straigth up ticket costs $288 and returned $508.35
