What an awesome card Churchill Downs has assembled for this coming Saturday.

The Stakes start in the 5th race with the 200K Jefferson Cup and continue on with...

6th: 200K Northern Dancer
7th: 200K Regret
8th: 400K Fleur de Lis Handicap

9th: 750K Stephen Foster which is shaping up like a mini Breeder's Cup race in June.

10th: 100K Opening Verse Handicap.

ESPN will be broadcasting from 4-6 PM EST.

Looking for value at CD on Saturday

Race 5: CAPO- theft on agenda for this speedster?

Race 6: GRAN PROSPECT- looks like a exotics threat at 20-1 on the line.

Race 7: SHADOW CAST- will have to work to beat the favorites but has the talent.

Race 8: CAT FIGHTER- working well for Baffert.

Race 9: PERFECT DRIFT- won this race last year and latest looks to set him up well.

race 10: GRETCHEN'S STAR- 3rd off a layoff.

I think a few of those are alive. Gran Prospect made a huge premature move last time. I think he's the bomb that could get in the tris or supers. Perfect Drift is going to be the 4th choice; he was in a paceless race last time out and tried taking the wide route. He beat Mineshaft in this race last year. I thought a couple other price shots had chances today: Grande's Grandson, who had a wide trip against a ground saving J Town, and Baxter Hall, who ran well against older horses last out. Interesting that Desormeaux didn't go to CD to ride Terroplane; he must like Musical Chimes chances a lot at Hol.
