GGF Last Race Baze Angle

I've mentioned this angle before...doesn't come up that often. Has to do with Russel Baze riding in the very last race during the week--for someone other than Morey, Martin, or Dorf. He lives about 20 miles down the freeway, and would like to cut out a little early and beat some of the horrible traffic that GGF sits in.
Well tonight all those trainers have mounts in the 8th and final, but Russel is aboard :2: BOUNTIFUL DESERT currently 7/1 for Thomas Jamey.

I'll go with the angle and put $10W on the :2: --and a :2: :11: :12: Ex box for $1 total $16

A horse player I knew years back pointed out this angle to me.
He swore by it, although it doesn't come into play all that much.
You're right, NGC. Baze would much rather hit the freeway early.
Traffic in the Bay Area is no bargain, and after 4pm it's a bear.

You have to figure, if Russell Baze is willing to stick around,
there is very often a good reason for doing so. :ThmbUp:

Equibase has 4/10 as the most recent date when "Russell the muscle" Baze did not finish itm when riding in Friday's last race. 11 3-4-4 his record since.
