Race 2 The #6 heavy favorite sits at the gate for 1 full second, (a standard weekly Parx practice). The #5 gets bumped hard by the #9 , #9 wins , #5 second and the 9 stays up after the inquiry, objection.

he hit the #5 so hard the horse almost fell down. That's a clear advantage.
The inquiry/objection lasted 15 minutes , was not the easy call

Horse Racing needs an independent group which reviews all inquiries and objections.

If you bet the #5 in this case, your horse's chances were compromised by the #9.

The track took 15+ minutes to ultimately spit in your eye.

Sad.

it was irrelevant. I think they were wrong that was a crash not a bump, with the 9 coming over for the rail. 5 sped up, took the lead, then tired, was it because the jockey was trying to compensate from the bump to get back in the race?
and I did have the 5 and 6 in the double. figures.

I can't believe the 9 stayed up but then again, this is PA racing. The long delay in the decision was probably due to having to make several phone calls to discover who organized crime had their money on.

If corruption was a state, it would be named Pennsylvania.

I get the feeling the Parx stewards take 10 minutes every morning to decide which pair of socks to wear.

And then they choose the wrong pair.

At least they paid the winner.

they knew he did wrong, but couldnt decide where to put him as he squeezed the whole field before playing bowling ball with the 5
