What was the deal with the horses riding under saddle? How often does this occur? They looked like they were speedwalking. Are the riders actually considered jockeys? They seemed like they were just sitting on the horse. They literally looked like they could have jumped down off of the horse and then jumped back on :D

Those were trotters they were riding not thoroughbreds.

I was surprised to see that they put the race on their betting menu.
