Pick 6 paid 33000 and if you singled Beholder and Songbird and went ALL in the other 4 legs the ticket would have cost 23000 (approx).

they had an attendance of over 13,000 and they bet a little over $2million onsite for the afternoon.

just trying to figure out if that's good or bad?

It sure was not good for a track like Santa Anita.

Also was boosted by some big bridge jumpers. Maybe boosted isn't a good word since bridge jumping races aren't really good betting races overall.

Not going to defend the attendance but it was at least 95 at SA yesterday. So. Cal has been thru a heat spell for about a month. By the way its not a dry Santa Ana heat, but more tropical humid heat.

I went to an OTB with A/C instead of going to the track.

Enjoy betting against them, why on gods green earth do they decide to hit Los Al quarter horses every once in awhile, talk about taking a chance.
