Santa Anita opening day

I started looking at the card and I'm looking to play the early pick 5


Right now my ticket looks like this:
1,2,5,6,7,8
2,4,6
2,3
6,8,9
4,7,8
For 50 cents I'm looking at $162 but the 4th race is giving me a headache and I'm considering making it a pick 4 and spreading this leg instead of this original bet...does anyone have any opinions or thoughts they would like to share concerning the 4th or the sequence in general?

Playing as well...my first suggestion is to not change to the pick 4...pick 5 is where all the value is at and the takeout on pick 4s at santa anita is very high...

I always like to have at least one if not two singles in pick 5 sequences...the :6: in race two looks strong to me and the :2: in race three will probably be the most popular public single in the sequence along with the :4: in race five...you could possibly single in one of those and spread in the fourth...for comparison, here is my ticket...

I think u meant the 4 in the last race as your single not the 5....i thought about using the 1 2 and 5 in the 4th leg along with 6 8 and 9 but that will really price up my ticket ...I can't get myself to single the last leg bc I think the pace is going to end up wicked ...desourmoux has the 1 in here I believe to be a rabit trying to set it up for his 7 Swipe sired by Birdstone who should really appreciate the added distance and be coming late ...i think Swipe is going to run big here and I'll be considering a big win bet if the price is right
